As heritage Golf Clubs began to mark celebratory milestones, the 1895 Club was created and all Clubs established in 1895 can apply to join. The purpose of the 1985 Club is to offer free green fees to members of participating Golf Clubs. As Cardigan is part of the 1895 Club, our members are able to play at many other courses worldwide free of charge. A full list is shown below.

CARDIGAN GOLF CLUB - The basis of the arrangement is as follows:
1. Members can only visit clubs that are 75 miles or more away from their own club unless otherwise agreed.
2. Play will be restricted to one four-ball per club daily, Mondays - Fridays.
3. Visiting parties are responsible for making their own arrangements in advance but are required to obtain a form from their Secretary, which has to be produced on arrival at the club being visited as means of identification.
4. The charge for play is at the discretion of the club - in most cases it is free - but members should confirm this at the time of booking. Visitors must comply with the dress rules laid down by the club that they are visiting.
5.This facility only applies to members of the 1895 Clubs and arrangements for other guests will be at the discretion of the club being visited and these persons would have to pay a full visitor's fee.
Email confirmation with Pro Shop for booking, Courtesy for 5 and 7 days membership only. Other categories will be offered a County Card rate.
The success of the 1895 Club lies in the conduct of members participating in it and all the Clubs will be monitoring the arrangements to see if improvements can be implemented in the future.
